Activities accomplished:
- Income generating activities for persons with disabilities through training and entrepreneurship project, Mohammadpur, Dhaka, Funded by: Abilis Foundaiton, Finland.
- Hostel Program for Visually Impaired Students, Mirpur-1, Dhaka, Funded by: Mr. Sanaul Arefin, Businessman, Dhaka.
- Orientation and Discussion Meeting on Disability Right & Protection Act-2013 Program, Bakurta Union, Saver, Funded by: CDD.
- Advocacy and Lobbying with DG of Education Affairs for Students with disabilities project, Funded by: CDD.
- Examination time was extended 20 minutes for students with PWDs by advocacy meeting with Education Board, Funded by: Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF).
- ICT Freelancing Training programme, Funded By: Ministry of ICT Division.
- Education Stipend Distribution for Visually Impaired Student, Mohammadpur, Dhaka.
- Food Distribution for the PWDs on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitor, Mohammadpur, Dhaka.
- White cane Distribution for the person with visual impairment on 15 October, Mohammadpur, Dhaka. Funded by- M.M.Ispahani Limited.
- Assistive Device Distribution for the Person with disabilities, Mohammadpur, Dhaka. Funded by- JPUF
- Educational Materials Distribution for the person with disabilities, Mohammadpur, Dhaka.
- Winter Cloth Distribution for the person with disabilities, Mohammadpur, Dhaka.
- Sharing meeting with Persons with Disabilities, Narayongonj.
- Organizing chase tournament for visually impaired men and women in collaboration with PWDs.
- Publish “Alor Thikana”, a regular publication of DWS twice a year.
- Mosquito net and wastebox distribution program among disabled and non-disabled people to cure dengue and build clean yard funded by Bachar Lorai America.
- Chess competition among visually impaired persons Programme funded By Samotar Bangladesh Campaign under the Sightsavers.

DWS is implementing the following activities:
- Braille Book support to the visually impaired students.
- Inclusive Learning Center of Children with disabilities through inclusive education.
- Training on Arbi (Holly Quran) in Braille for visually impaired students.
- Orientation and Discussion Meeting on Disability Right & Protection Act-2013.
- Education Stipend Distribution for Students of persons with disability.
- Food Distribution for the PWDs on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
- Organize cultural and sports competition events for PWDs.
- Observe National Disability Day, World white cane safety day and international Disability day with due importance.
- Assistive Devices & Educational Materials Distribution for the person with disability.
- Provide Training for PWDs & Organize Dengue programed for PWDs.

Monitoring & Evaluation:
Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation (PM&E) is the core and important unit of DWS where partners, beneficiaries and other interested parties get an opportunity to share programs programmatic issues. When DWS starts a program or project in the respective area the unit is fully engaged with them and assist them by following tools and teachings:
- Caption of monitoring and evaluation
- Selection of indicators for monitoring and evaluation
- Selection data collection methods
- Processing Data
- Analyzing Data
- Using pm& E information for their own purpose
Key Principle of PM& E:
- Local people are actively participants – not just sources of information
- Stakeholders evaluate, outsiders facilitate
- Focus on building stakeholders capacity for analysis and problems solving.
- Process build commitment implementing any recommended corrective actions.
