Disabled Welfare Society (DWS) has always stood beside persons with disabilities and marginalized individuals, providing timely assistance to meet their urgent needs. Continuing this commitment, several initiatives were carried out in 2024–2025:

08 July 2024 – DWS supported Mominur Islam, a visually impaired student, by providing assistance that enabled him to continue his education while also starting a small clothing business for self-reliance.

10 July 2024 – In response to the devastating floods, DWS extended emergency financial assistance to flood-affected families, ensuring that the most vulnerable were not left behind.

28 July 2024 – DWS provided medical support to Anwara Begum to help her receive necessary treatment and improve her health condition.

10 July 2024 – Financial assistance was provided to Amena Keya and Kajal Rekha, two vulnerable women, so they could overcome personal and family-related challenges.

01 September 2024 – DWS stood beside Anwara Begum once again, this time supporting her leg surgery costs, enabling her to access vital medical care.

10 May 2025 – As part of its ongoing humanitarian work, DWS extended support to Ratna from Patgram, helping her family cope with financial hardship and sustain their livelihood.
Through these supports, DWS continues its mission to empower persons with disabilities, promote inclusion, and bring positive change to disadvantaged communities.
